Snowmobiling Tour on Eyjafjallajökull in South Iceland

While South Iceland is spectacular from below, nothing compares to experiencing it from above on a snowmobile tour across Eyjafjallajökull glacier. The tour begins at our base at Brú on Road 249, about seven minutes past Seljalandsfoss waterfall. After a short safety briefing, guests are provided with a snow suit, helmet, gloves, and mask before boarding a modified super jeep. We then drive up the slopes of Eyjafjallajökull, onto the glacier, and to our snowmobile base.

Once there, it’s time for an exhilarating ride across the glacier. The vastness of the icy landscape quickly becomes apparent, with endless snowfields, dramatic rock formations, and striking ice sculptures. As we venture deeper into the glacier, breathtaking views over South Iceland unfold, creating a truly unforgettable experience.
