Frequently asked questions
Yes, they can. However, there might be a minimum age on some of the Off-the-Beaten-Path packages. You can see the minimum age for each tour under the tour photo.
The beaten path are tours and packages that go to some of the most popular places in Iceland, such as the Golden Circle, the waterfalls in South Iceland, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, Snæfellsnes Peninsula, Lake Mývatn, and Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. These are all spectacular sites and should not be missed. A few of our Off-the-Beaten-Path packages will visit some of these places as well, so you can get to see the country’s favoured sites as well as some hidden gems.
For some, yes, for others, no. Our packages are very different and have different difficulty levels. Some might only be suitable for those in good physical condition, while others are suitable for all. We make it clear in the tour description if you need to be physically fit to participate on a tour.
Yes, we can! Creating new tours is actually our speciality. All you need to do is to fill in a form where we ask you to tell us as much as you can so that we can plan your perfect trip. You can find that form HERE.
We recommend that you start planning your trip to Iceland well in advance. A year in advance would be ideal, but 6 months should be sufficient. The longer you wait, the higher the chances are that the accommodation or the tour that you want will be fully booked. On some of our Off the Beaten Path Tours, seats are limited and can fill up quickly. So try to book as soon as possible to secure your spot so you can have the best of what Iceland has to offer.
All our Off the Beaten Path Tours are on request. Simply go to the tour you want and fill in the form to request a quote and book your tour.
Some of our tours include meals, but not all. Make sure to read the tour description to see what’s included and what’s not.
Our Off the Beaten Path Tours are all so different that there is no one type of accommodation for every tour. You can find information about where you will stay in the tour description under “Accommodations”. If the accommodation is not what you had hoped for, don’t hesitate to contact us and tell us what you want. Maybe we can find something different!
Once you have booked a tour with us, a travel agent will be in contact with you to finalise the details of your trip and provide you with all the info you need. This will include the information on when and where to be before your trip.
Our Off the Beaten Path tours are extraordinary tours that you will not find anywhere else. They are sometimes based on events that happen only once a year or are combining activities that no one else combines. So, if you’re looking for something truly special, look no further and book one of these tours.
