Day 1 – Welcome to Iceland

After landing at Keflavík Airport, your private transfer meets you for the drive across the volcanic Reykjanes Peninsula. The journey includes a stop to relax in the warm geothermal waters of either the Blue Lagoon or the Sky Lagoon before heading into the city. Later, you’ll gather with your guide and fellow travelers for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant to preview the upcoming route. Afterward, you are free to settle into your room or walk through the downtown streets under the continuous evening light. You’ll spend the night at Hótel Reykjavík Saga.

Day 2 – Reykjavík Food & Culture Tour

You’ll explore the vibrant heart of Iceland’s capital today on an exciting four-hour walking tour. A knowledgeable local guide will introduce you to Reykjavík’s rich culture, history, and delicious culinary traditions. You’ll sample authentic local delicacies at diverse eateries while discovering the city’s unique charm. Your journey also gives you plenty of free time to wander at your own pace. You can visit iconic landmarks like the towering Hallgrímskirkja church and the striking Harpa Concert Hall. Later, you can browse the boutiques along Laugavegur shopping street before spending another cozy night in the city.

Day 3 – The Iconic Golden Circle

Your guide will meet you for an unforgettable journey into Iceland’s historic heartland. You’ll first explore the dramatic rift valley of Þingvellir National Park, where continental plates tear apart. Next, you’ll stop at Laugarvatn to see how locals bake rye bread in hot geothermal sand. You’ll then enjoy a fresh lunch surrounded by tomato vines at the unique Friðheimar greenhouse. Your day continues with the roaring Gullfoss waterfall and the erupting hot springs at Geysir. You’ll also visit a horse farm to meet friendly, five-gaited Icelandic horses before viewing the colorful Kerið crater. Spend the night at Hotel Grímsborgir.

Day 4 – South Coast Waterfalls & Black Sands

You’ll head along the scenic South Coast today to marvel at majestic cascading waterfalls. You can walk directly behind the roaring veil of Seljalandsfoss for a truly unique perspective. Nearby, you’ll discover the hidden gem of Gljúfrabúi, a beautiful waterfall tucked away inside a secret canyon. You’ll then admire the mighty Skógafoss waterfall before enjoying lunch at the Skógafoss Bistro. Afterward, a local guide will walk you through the historic turf houses at the fascinating Skógar Museum. Your day ends with a stroll on the dramatic black sands of Reynisfjara beach. Day 5 – Glaciers & Floating Icebergs

You’ll step back in time this morning with a visit to the charming Hofskirkja turf church. Next, you’ll feel the crisp Arctic air on an exhilarating Zodiac boat tour at Fjallsárlón glacier lagoon. You’ll navigate around massive, floating icebergs and get incredibly close to the towering glacier wall. Your adventure continues at the famous Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, where ice blocks drift serenely toward the ocean. Right next door, you’ll wander along the magical Diamond Beach. Here, polished ice shapes rest on the pitch-black sand like glittering jewels before you head back to your hotel.

Day 6 – Hidden Gems & Dramatic Canyons

Here, you can fill your water bottle directly from a pristine natural spring with incredibly pure Icelandic water. Next, you’ll admire the dramatic, winding walls of Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon and the vast Eldhraun mossy lava field. You’ll then enjoy a relaxing lunch in the charming coastal village of Vík. Afterward, your journey continues to the spectacular Dyrhólaey promontory and the beautiful, secluded Kvernufoss waterfall. Day 7 – Departure

You’ll wrap up your premium journey today as you prepare for your journey home. If your flight departs later in the day, you can spend your remaining time exploring downtown Reykjavík. You can pick up unique souvenirs, visit local galleries, or relax in a cozy café. Once it is time to say goodbye, a private chauffeur will pick you up directly from your hotel.
